Hola CDPeeps!
How are you fabulous people doing? Here’s what’s been going on with us:
Party hardy.
Our ‘fun-raising’ party-slash-Shawn’s birthday celebration was ridiculously successful! Thanks so much to all our supporters, especially new ones, whose presence we enjoyed and who collectively donated $224 to our initiative. Guess what? We also signed up 30+ signature shifts!
Local news.
“Mayor Jean Quan’s budget proposal would boost Oakland Police Department expenditures by more than 14 percent over the next two years, and would direct more than half of new tax revenues collected in the city to OPD.”
What are your thought on this? Email us or show up at a Town Hall meeting (below) to speak your mind.
